At IFSP, we are dedicated to providing emergency home cleanouts and housing stabilization services. Our goal is to support families in crisis referred by DCFS, schools, churches, and local agencies.

The nonprofit will:
The nonprofit will NOT:
Over the past year, we’ve quietly helped several local families who were facing housing crises — situations where unsafe living conditions put their homes, and their families, at risk.
One recent project involved a family referred by a local agency who needed immediate help stabilizing their home. With the right support, they were able to address the issues, remain housed, and move forward.
Out of experiences like this, we’re launching a new community initiative:
Illinois Family Stabilization Project
Our mission is simple:
Provide emergency home cleanouts and housing stabilization services for families in crisis, referred by partner agencies in Peoria County.
This is not a general free cleanout program and not something we can respond to through individual messages. All services are by agency referral only, with a focus on short-term, high-impact interventions that help families regain stability.
We’re currently in the pilot phase, working behind the scenes to build the right structure and partnerships so this work can be done sustainably — without coming out of pocket and without burning out the people doing the work.
More to come as we continue building this the right way.
Thank you to the agencies, partners, and community members who’ve already supported and trusted this work

Essential Household Support Services
Our organization provides essential household goods to support individuals and families in need of immediate stabilization and safe living conditions. Assistance includes the provision of bedding and linens, dishes, cookware, basic furniture, and other necessary household items required for daily living.
Services are delivered based on identified need and availability, with an emphasis on restoring dignity, promoting household stability, and supporting families during periods of transition. Support may be provided through direct assistance or referrals from partner agencies, caseworkers, and community organizations.
All services are administered in a professional, equitable, and respectful manner, ensuring client privacy and maintaining a trauma-informed approach
